in or about 1999 my good freind, neighbor at the tiME, as well as co-worker at the time invited me over for some jam time. i went ther expecting guitars and drumsets, but much to my suprise i found a few computers, some keyboards and a drum machine, along with a plethora of wiring and fx stuff. by the end of that night i knew i was done with "traditional" instruments, and went out and blew my upcoming tax return on a pc desktop for myself and dedicated it to makin music like i had done with my bud a few weeks before. since then i've aquired jus tonsof randomnoisemakers and effects by goin to garage sales and auctions.
i always knew that i wanted a career in the music industry, and i've had a ton of shitty jobs to support my habbit. either way the quest has been pheniminal, the sounds that i've heard these computers make is jus blissful and truly amazing. i enjoy what i do, and thats what i think keeps me coming back daily to my lil humble home studio everyday, everyday.
one thing that erks me is when i hear the same sounds over and over again, with no taste or inventiveness. we now have the technology to produce brand new sounds and algorythms. what has been done in the past is exactly that , done. i want to tear down boundries and the trained thought process to no end and really leave a mark, saying that i was here.
